Hedge Trimmers
Kaaz hedge trimmers by Danarm are high quality and value for money. A choice for landscapers/contractors and local authorities, hedge trimmers are available with Kawasaki or Mitsubishi engines and with single side or double side blades from 56cm (23”) to 102cm (42.5”).
The Danarm hedge trimmers offer several important safety features which improve operator safety and comfort in use and manoeuvrability. The full-floating anti-vibration springs give a very smooth operation and the blade stoppage time is less than one second after release of the dead-mans throttle lever. Double-sided models have a five position turning rear handle for comfort and the position can be changed while the engine is still running.

Chippers & Shredders

Saelen have a large range of powered and PTO chipper/shredders and wood chippers. The multi-vegetation chipper/shredders incorporate a patented mixed rotor technology using hammers and knives to shred wood and other organic matter. This unique feature means that the machinery can confidently allow a mix of material where the hammers protect the knives from any damage that may occur.
Chipper/shredders and chippers range from 13-60 HP, with either petrol or diesel engines and a chipping capacity ranging from 6-24cm. Smaller models feed through material on a roller and larger models are fed hydraulically and are fitted with a no stress system regulating the speed of entry. The use of rubber dampers and foam insulated covers considerably reduce vibration and noise pollution and for transport, all models are fitted with heavy duty braked towing trailers.
As waste management is becoming a priority, using a Saelen chipper places you at an economic advantage, where once 2 machines were required to chip wood and shred vegetation, now one machine can carry out both tasks efficiently allowing time and financial savings.
